The Next Evolution of the One-Piece Hunting System

Built for the coldest days in the stand, the ThermoShield Hunt Suit takes the legendary warmth of the classic one-piece coverall and rebuilds it with modern technical performance. Fully articulated, windproof, water-repellent, and powered by premium PrimaLoft® insulation, this is the first true high-performance one-piece system engineered for today’s whitetail and late-season hunters.

From the internal suspender system to the optimized pocket layout and silent-access zippers, every element was designed to eliminate bulk, reduce noise, increase mobility, and deliver absolute comfort in brutal weather.

Warmth without restriction. Protection without weight.

Fit

The ThermoShield Hunt Suit is a late-season outer layer with room for a base layer and an insulating mid layer underneath.

Between Sizes?

  • Choose your normal jacket size if your chest measurement falls between two sizes.
  • If your chest and waist land in different sizes, size to your chest measurement for comfortable layering and unrestricted upper-body movement.
  • The adjustable internal suspenders customize torso fit and improve comfort sitting in a tree stand.

How to Measure

  • Chest. Around the fullest part, under the arms, tape level and snug.
  • Waist. Around your natural waistline, at the belly button.
  • Inseam. Crotch seam to the bottom of the hem on a pant that already fits you.
  • These are body measurements, not garment measurements. Find your numbers, then read across.
  • Still not sure? Email us your height, weight, and what you layer underneath. We'll tell you what to order.

Each of our garments comes with specific care instructions to ensure they perform at their best. Please check the care label on your Cheli Gear before washing or drying.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
To keep your gear in top condition, wash it on a normal cycle using warm water and a detergent formulated for hunting apparel. This will effectively clean most dirt and blood stains. We suggest running a second rinse cycle to thoroughly remove any detergent residue. Always wash with similar colors. Avoid using bleach, fabric softeners, and do not dry clean your gear.

DRYING INSTRUCTIONS
For the best results and to minimize environmental impact, we recommend line drying your garments. If you prefer to use a dryer, select a normal or gentle cycle with medium heat. For outerwear, whether line-dried or machine-dried, an additional 20-minute tumble dry will help reactivate the Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish, which we highly recommend.

Internal Suspender System

Internal Suspender System

Drop the top half and tie it at the waist for the walk in, then pull it up once you're settled. You get to the stand without soaking your base layer in sweat — which is what actually makes you cold three hours later.

Treestand Harness Port

Treestand Harness Port

our tether passes through the back with the suit fully zipped. No unzipping, no untucking, no fighting your gear in the dark. Clip in at the base of the tree and stay clipped in.

Reinforced Knees & Cargo Pockets

Reinforced Knees & Cargo Pockets

Reinforced panels take the wear from climbing sticks and kneeling in a blind. Cargo pockets on both legs hold calls, tags, and a knife, with snaps that close quiet enough not to carry at thirty yards.

The Technology

PrimaLoft® Body-Mapped Insulation — engineered for Midwest conditions

PrimaLoft® Body-Mapped Insulation

Insulation placed where you lose heat and pulled back where you don't. You get the warmth of a classic coverall without the bulk that comes with insulating the whole suit evenly — so nothing binds when you draw or shoulder a gun.

Windproof & DWR Treated

The shell blocks wind before it reaches the insulation, and a durable water repellent finish sheds drizzle, wet snow, and frost off the branches. Insulation only works if the wind can't get through it.

Articulated Construction

Cut with articulated knees and elbows and a hand gusset so the suit moves with you instead of pulling. Reinforced knee panels take the wear from climbing sticks and kneeling in a blind.

Common Questions

No gap at the waist. On a cold, still sit, that seam is where heat leaves and wind gets in, and no amount of tucking fully fixes it. A one-piece also has less overlapping material through the torso, which means less bulk and less noise when you move. The trade is flexibility — separates let you shed a layer mid-hunt, a suit doesn't. If you hunt the coldest weeks and sit long, the suit wins.
This is the late-season piece. PrimaLoft body-mapped insulation plus a windproof shell covers the brutal days — sub-freezing, wind on an open field edge, sitting still for hours. Wear a base layer and a mid layer under it. If you're hunting 40s and 50s, the ThermoShield Jacket and Bibs are the better call.
That's what the diagonal zip is for. It opens across the body rather than straight up the front, which is easier to run with gloves on and in heavy layers. The internal suspenders let you drop the top half without taking the whole suit off, and silent-access zippers keep the noise down when you do.
Order to your chest measurement. If your chest and waist land in different sizes, go with the chest — it protects your range of motion through the shoulders, which matters more than a perfect waist fit on a suit. The adjustable internal suspenders handle torso length from there.
