The Cheli Guarantee

If it doesn't perform in the field, we'll make it right. No receipt hunting, no hassle. Built by hunters, backed by hunters.

Wind stops at the shell. Warmth stays where you put it.

Cold takes a sit from the ground up. Wind pushes through most pants by mid-morning, your legs go, and you're climbing down before the movement starts. That's not a toughness problem. That's a gear problem.

The ThermoShield Bibs are a windproof shell built to end it. ThermoShield tech blocks wind before it reaches your layers, so the warmth you walked in with is the warmth you still have at noon. There's no insulation built into these bibs, and that's deliberate — you set the warmth underneath. Forty-degree swing in a single morning, one bib handles it.

Everything else on them is there because we needed it in the field.

  • ThermoShield Windproof Tech — the wind stops at the shell, not at your skin. Your layers do their job instead of fighting a draft.
  • Full-Length Side Zips — on and off over boots without sitting down in the dark. Dump heat on the walk in, close them up when you settle.
  • Front Hand Muffs — fleece-lined, positioned where your hands actually rest. Keep your fingers warm without gloves and keep your draw clean.
  • Cargo Pockets with Silent Snaps — no zipper buzz, no Velcro rip at 30 yards. Calls, tags, and a knife stay where you put them.
  • DuraFlex Buckles — real hardware on the straps. Adjusts over a hoodie or a mid layer, holds under a pack and a harness, doesn't slip mid-sit.
  • DWR Treated — frost, drizzle, and wet cornstalks bead up and shed instead of soaking in.

We're a family with 60 years in textiles who got tired of paying premium western prices for gear built for elevations we'll never hunt. So we built our own. If these don't perform in the field, we'll make it right.

How to Measure

  • Waist. Around your natural waistline, at the belly button.
  • Inseam. Crotch seam to the bottom of the hem on a pant that already fits you.
  • These are body measurements, not garment measurements. Find your numbers, then read across.
  • Still not sure? Email us your height, weight, and what you layer underneath. We'll tell you what to order.

Each of our garments comes with specific care instructions to ensure they perform at their best. Please check the care label on your Cheli Gear before washing or drying.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
To keep your gear in top condition, wash it on a normal cycle using warm water and a detergent formulated for hunting apparel. This will effectively clean most dirt and blood stains. We suggest running a second rinse cycle to thoroughly remove any detergent residue. Always wash with similar colors. Avoid using bleach, fabric softeners, and do not dry clean your gear.

DRYING INSTRUCTIONS
For the best results and to minimize environmental impact, we recommend line drying your garments. If you prefer to use a dryer, select a normal or gentle cycle with medium heat. For outerwear, whether line-dried or machine-dried, an additional 20-minute tumble dry will help reactivate the Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish, which we highly recommend.

Wind-Proof Technology

Wind-Proof Technology

The ThermoShield face stops wind before it reaches your layers. Sitting still in an open blind or a picked field is where bibs get tested, and this is what keeps a cold front from pulling heat off your legs.

Full-Length Side Zips

Full-Length Side Zips

Zip them open from ankle to hip and step in with your boots on. No sitting on the tailgate, no wrestling in the dark. Zip them shut and the wind has nowhere to get in.

Cargo Pockets with Silent Snaps

Cargo Pockets with Silent Snaps

Calls, tags, a knife, a bottle of scent killer — everything in reach without getting off the seat. The snaps close quiet, so a deer at thirty yards doesn't hear you open a pocket.

DWR Water Repellency

A durable water repellent finish sheds light rain, wet snow, and the frost you pick up dragging through a creek bottom. It beads off instead of soaking in.

DuraFlex Buckles

Adjustable shoulder straps on DuraFlex hardware. Dial in torso length for your frame, and drop the straps without unbuckling when you need to.

Common Questions

No — that's on purpose. The ThermoShield face blocks wind, sheds light rain with a DWR treatment, and stays quiet. Your warmth comes from what you wear under them, which is what lets one pair of bibs work from an early-November sit through a January cold front instead of being right for two weeks a year.
es. The side zips run the full length, so you step in with boots on and zip up. Same on the way out — no sitting on a tailgate in the dark trying to get a leg free. You can also vent them partway on the walk in and zip them shut once you're settled.
Yes. Cargo pockets on both legs take calls, tags, a knife, and a bottle of scent killer, and the snaps close quiet so opening one doesn't carry. The front hand muffs are fleece-lined and sit where your hands already rest, so you can warm your fingers without pulling gloves on and off.
Order your normal size. The bibs are cut with room for a base layer and a mid layer already built in. The adjustable DuraFlex shoulder straps handle torso length, so if you're tall or short through the body you can dial that in rather than sizing around it.
