Cold takes a sit from the ground up. Wind pushes through most pants by mid-morning, your legs go, and you're climbing down before the movement starts. That's not a toughness problem. That's a gear problem.
The ThermoShield Bibs are a windproof shell built to end it. ThermoShield tech blocks wind before it reaches your layers, so the warmth you walked in with is the warmth you still have at noon. There's no insulation built into these bibs, and that's deliberate — you set the warmth underneath. Forty-degree swing in a single morning, one bib handles it.
Everything else on them is there because we needed it in the field.
- ThermoShield Windproof Tech — the wind stops at the shell, not at your skin. Your layers do their job instead of fighting a draft.
- Full-Length Side Zips — on and off over boots without sitting down in the dark. Dump heat on the walk in, close them up when you settle.
- Front Hand Muffs — fleece-lined, positioned where your hands actually rest. Keep your fingers warm without gloves and keep your draw clean.
- Cargo Pockets with Silent Snaps — no zipper buzz, no Velcro rip at 30 yards. Calls, tags, and a knife stay where you put them.
- DuraFlex Buckles — real hardware on the straps. Adjusts over a hoodie or a mid layer, holds under a pack and a harness, doesn't slip mid-sit.
- DWR Treated — frost, drizzle, and wet cornstalks bead up and shed instead of soaking in.
We're a family with 60 years in textiles who got tired of paying premium western prices for gear built for elevations we'll never hunt. So we built our own. If these don't perform in the field, we'll make it right.

Fit
ThermoShield Bibs are an outer layer with room for base layers and insulated mid layers underneath. Order your normal size. Adjustable shoulder straps allow for additional torso length adjustment.
How to Measure
- Waist. Around your natural waistline, at the belly button.
- Inseam. Crotch seam to the bottom of the hem on a pant that already fits you.
- These are body measurements, not garment measurements. Find your numbers, then read across.

Each of our garments comes with specific care instructions to ensure they perform at their best. Please check the care label on your Cheli Gear before washing or drying.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
To keep your gear in top condition, wash it on a normal cycle using warm water and a detergent formulated for hunting apparel. This will effectively clean most dirt and blood stains. We suggest running a second rinse cycle to thoroughly remove any detergent residue. Always wash with similar colors. Avoid using bleach, fabric softeners, and do not dry clean your gear.
DRYING INSTRUCTIONS
For the best results and to minimize environmental impact, we recommend line drying your garments. If you prefer to use a dryer, select a normal or gentle cycle with medium heat. For outerwear, whether line-dried or machine-dried, an additional 20-minute tumble dry will help reactivate the Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish, which we highly recommend.

Full-Length Side Zips
Zip them open from ankle to hip and step in with your boots on. No sitting on the tailgate, no wrestling in the dark. Zip them shut and the wind has nowhere to get in.
Cargo Pockets with Silent Snaps
Calls, tags, a knife, a bottle of scent killer — everything in reach without getting off the seat. The snaps close quiet, so a deer at thirty yards doesn't hear you open a pocket.
